Dear God/ess, Experiencing the flow, the love, the abundance in the Universe is different than just talking about it. Words convey vibration and provide communication. After writing these words in a Border's bookstore coffee shop, the golden setting sun caught the whole of my eye and felt like a refreshing golden eye bath, the color of illuminated straw, perhaps?
This after another day of clouds and rain.
Interestingly, Aquinas died 3/7/1274, the same day as Yogananda's Mahasamadhi (and the same day we got Mukunda The Dog in 1997).
The sunset is an especially bold gift this evening while the rest of the sky is dark, and the horizon generously allows those of us who notice, a glorious show to herald in the rest of the evening and night.
I welcome longer nights and the ever decreasing moments to the day, (just as I welcome the changing of all the seasons!) The beauty of the day is equal to the beauty of the night.
Natalie Goldberg's recommendation to write in a coffee shop or restaurant is poignant this evening. People around me show me that verbal expression carries tones of negative or positive intent. One woman had tones of judgment in her voice as she spoke to a friend on the phone. Now the people who are congregating here are emanating interest and curiosity toward life and one another.
Tone of voice and the well-placed word is not lost on all who gather here on this beautiful planet, Human, Animal and Tree alike.
