Your Daily Prayer For Healing-6/28/2010-Your Prayer For Today.

Dear God/ess, I feel as if I am living out the long night of the soul. Sometimes sitting at the birthing bed does that to us because so much is at stake. So I pray and stay in the present moment with a small light shining on this page, while the patient sleeps and so does her husband, on a couch across the room.

If you are a nurse, then you are on an important spiritual path. In order for me to continue at the bedside, I must renew my vow to keep the spirit alive as I go about caring for my patients.

Our patients are the most important thing, not politics, not big business, not the frustrating health insurance or pharmaceutical companies.

Moving energy to heal at the bedside is one of the most liberating meditations there is, especially at 3 AM. The spirits of the night grace the spheres, if you stop and recognize their existence. Or even if you don't they are watching.

The spirits of the night grace this summer night, and the spirits of the full moon linger as a result of the powerful lunar eclipse early Saturday morning.

I call on the angelic spirits tonight and early morning, right here, right now, to keep our patients safe, and an extra wish that they are blessed with healthy babies. The angels of the night are listening and they spread their wings tonight in protection.

I also wish that these hospitals one day soon become a place of healing. One day they will because of the celestial speedup of consciousness taking place in small pockets on the planet, right now. Soon the speed up will reach a critical mass and people will have no choice but to join the flow of this enlightened opening of consciousness.

I plan to see this in my lifetime. Our show MoonMooYou is a proclamation of this evolutionary spiritual revolution. This week, Deborah Levine Herman will join Joan and I to discuss her seven lessons of the spirit, which she discusses on her radio show, as well as her book "Spiritual Writing." The internet is populated  with people who seek spiritual truth. Our Blue Heron Farm Spiritual Retreat Center will push forth the New/Old Age, a paradigm waiting to take root and blossom.

We are heralding in a new consciousness as we meet kindred karmic souls along the way.

Your Daily Prayer For Healing-6/15/2010-Your Prayer For Today.

Dear God/ess, I will be in a meditative state today to prepare for the Moon, Moo and You: The Collective Wisdom show tonight, when we will focus positive energy on healing the core of the earth after the oil spill event in the Gulf of Mexico. Let us meditate on the vibrancy of the planet we call Mother Earth. Let us concentrate on the beautiful green, the waterways where we live, the bird life that thrives all around us. Let us pray for the protection of all our nature friends, all the nature spirits, the wind spirits, the air fairies and the entire unseen dimensions.

Let us call on the angels to find a miracle and a healing of the Earth's Core. Let us call in the special emissaries who always help in times of trouble when called upon: Mother Mary, all the saints, Christ Consciousness, and one of my own personal favorites, Babaji. Mother Mary recently saved our lives here on the Blue Heron Farm Retreat and I know she will miraculously heal the gaping wound which requires swift repair, especially if we call on her.

And we pray that the consciousness of human life finds a way to elevate its vibrational field through this catastrophe, and that we stop the finger pointing and take responsibility for our collective addiction to oil, to buying SUV's and gas guzzlers that do not preserve the ecology of our beautiful planet.

We pray for a loving essence to settle into the human vibrational field. We pray for a collective awakening that takes all of us to the realization that the planet when seen from several hundred or thousand miles away is a thriving consciousness all of its own.

She will survive.

The human propensity to resent, hate, conduct wars, and depend on oil is not going to destroy the planet.

We must pray that human ignorance be brought to the light for purification.

We allow the animals in our lives heal everything around us and within us, including the BP oil spill.

The miracle of life is that miracles happen.

Let in the miracles.

Doubt is the most crippling emotion that we can experience.

Concentrate your love upon the water.

Heal yourself with the loving vibration.

Use that energy to heal the water.

Prayer Upon The Water To Heal BP's Collosal "Mistake"

Please Be mindful today about our collective feelings of powerlessness and anger directed at BP. We cannot solve this "problem" with the same mind that created it.

Please take responsibility, too, about our own collective addiction to oil on this planet. Together we can heal the waterways and seek recovery for this addiction.

Your Daily Prayer For Healing-06/08/2010-Your Prayer For Today.

Dear God/ess, I was in a quandary about where to start yet another blog, but this one is a video blog, called "Blue Heron Farm Retreat Video Blog." Joan4 suggested it last week, and I've been thinking about it ever since.

The first post reveals birdsong, Ulysses fetching a ball in the river and the river bank magic and the flow of the Conestoga River. Plus an invitation to come join us at our first event 8/13-15.

What is the point in having all of these blogs? Yes, I am a blog-a-holic. But combining online Blogs, lenses, hub pages and articles with the offline work of, as in our case, having a Spiritual Retreat Center, may do very well for engaging trust and credibility for those who are attracted to spiritual matters.

Many potential blog topics occur to me but are either too controversial or entirely too ridiculous for me to write about. When my buttons get pushed, I always consider writing about that exact button pushing idea, and either write about it or not.

But I have a real knee jerk reaction to what I have always called "The Medical Gestapo." I wish I could say that Medicine has become more of a healing environment. The Post 911 years seems to have unleashed a whole new era of punitive suffocation. People in the medical workplace seem to think they are in the law enforcement profession or the military instead of what could or should be healing and transformational, or at the least emotionally intelligent.

A startling example of this is a "Falls Protocol" that has recently come to haunt all the nurses at our hospital. Every patient has to sign a "Falls Safety Agreement" which amounts to a consent form asking the patient to call her nurse if she feels dizzy or if she needs help.  If the patient falls, and if she did not sign the agreement, a Falls Investigation Team comes to the hospital and investigates the fall like it's a crime scene.

If the patient falls on your shift, you are written up, with a great punitive flourish. If anything else ever happens again to question your good standing as a nurse, you are automatically fired.

There. I feel better now. I just wrote the most ridiculous thing I ever heard in my entire professional career.

Your Daily Prayer For Healing-06/04/2010-Your Prayer For Today.

Dear God/ess, Our minds and souls are like a river, like the river which passes by the Blue Heron Farm Spiritual Retreat Center: The Conestoga River.

As the poet Rumi said: "When you do something from your soul,
you feel a river moving in you, a joy."

The more in touch you are with your soul, it may feel as if the river constantly runs through you, especially as you learn to pay attention and heed the call.

Many people feel that deep inside their spirits is an unworthiness, something bad, something to keep covered up.

As we trust the call of Spirit, we know that our lives will never be the same again. We can no longer languish in unconscious actions or rush mindlessly to the next task at hand.

As we wake up and listen and heed the call, the life force within strengthens. We suddenly learn to trust it over the well meaning advice from family or friends. Perhaps that piece of advice resonates deeply and touches the flow of that river, in which case, we follow with a resounding "YES!"

The messages our soul sends to us from the river wellspring of our being may urge us to be creative in ways we've never known before. Do It!

The messages may urge us to seek prolonged silent times, or times to move our bodies in synch with the earth and water. Dance It!

The messages may tell us to surrender our lives to a greater power that guides us to see the larger picture of life, love and grace. Let Go!

Do not give in to the resistance to tune out these spirit calls, because life is short, and avoidance only leads to sorrow. But we all do it, and thusly we prolong the joy that our lives are waiting to give us.

The river can dam up and prevent the free flow of expression in the Life Force. But the Life Force often speaks loudest when the flow is blocked.

Seize the opportunity and listen boldly and act with Intention. Allow the Inspiration to guide you to the next level of your Destiny.
